From my (one season only) experience, put it in a BIG pot > little pot=little plant, big pot=bigger plant=more tomatoes!
Flowers? As far as I remember from the flower grows the tomato. Don’t cut it.

Ha ha, that’s a funny blog. Any advice on growing tomatoes in a pot? We started Cherry one’s and heard we have to clip the flower buds or they won’t grow. What do you think?

Awesome awesome awesome garden, Nurit! We’ve only got a humble herb garden going right now with a Topsy Turvy for tomatoes and another for starwberries, but next summer…We’re gonna have ourselves a true garden!

I am obsessed with seeds and plant starts at the moment. I live in a townhouse but I rent 450 sq ft of ground nearby. I have potatoes, peas, onions, beets, carrots, herbs, zucchini (in a bottle), salad greens, sorrel, spinach, cress, kale, and flowers in now. You are cracking me up! I planted some lettuce and arugula and just got some tomato starts. Next gotta get the beans in the ground and whatever else my son picks out – probably some sort of summer squash.

Yes indeedee… I’m getting anxious for it to stop being 40 degrees at night. :-/ My tomato plants want to come out of the greenhouse! Unfortunately, this year I’m getting a lot of critter interference in my raised bed.
