I’m always equally surprised (and impressed) with the way friendships operate. One of my very best (and most beloved) friends is also one of the people who drives me the most crazy… but somehow, we manage to keep a really strong bond. And I think it’s growing stronger the older we get. Maybe as we grow to appreciate our differences just as much as our similarities.

Love the walnut maple combo — so this coffee cake is right up my alley. Would love a slice to have this morning with my coffee!
