He's way into baked goods: the kind of guy that will eat leftover cake for breakfast for three days straight. When he mentioned how cool it would be to have a poppyseed muffin cake with cream cheese frosting, I hired my boss's wife (a baker-from-scratch kinda gal) and we went to work. The result was an amazing poppyseed cake with a light cream cheese frosting and amaretto filling. He was floored, and it was SO worth the two days it took to make it all. I don’t have a favorite, but I DO have a story about my boyfriend’s.

Both look great (especially if you love minimarshmallows!). My favorite cake is Our #1 Favorite Chocolate Cake.
