Good Friday everyone!

I have launched “Cake Collection” with a Giveaway only on Wednesday, so I didn’t really expect to have anything to give you today. But, we are lucky because we got our first cakes. Yippie! I am Sooooooooo Super Excited!!!!!!!!!!

Since this was a short notice (Wednesday to Friday), you can still submit cakes until Sunday, 3/15. They don’t have to be “fresh”, just as long as you have posted them already on your blog and there’s a link to it. Next Monday, 3/16, I’ll collect recipes for next Friday.

The first submissions to the Cake Collection come from:

Diana from DianasaurDishes is sharing her recipe for Dark Chocolate Haupia Pie with a Macadamia Oat Nut Crust, which you see in the photo above. I’ve had my eye on this cake for a long time. I’ve printed the recipe and am planning to make it soon. How can I not with chocolate, coconut, whipped cream and macadamia nuts?

Kate Brittle from A Dash of Sass is sharing her recipe for Homemade Strawberry Cake. You got to to her blog and see that one, with some amazing photos! I’ve never heard of such cake before.

Thank you both so much.

To add your cake to the “Cake Collection” and get a chance to win Ray’s Boathouse fabulous cookbook, go to the “Cake Collection” page for more details (under the top header).

Have a wonderful weekend!

Nurit

PS – and I’ve got a chocolate chocolate-stout cake in the oven as we speak.

We just enjoyed Pound Cake with Lime Custard Sauce and Lime Sherbet for our dessert today in honor of St. Patrick’s Day. Thank you for the cake links!
